About the Role  

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead and help develop our online pharmacy service. This role will suit an experienced pharmacist looking to evolve their career to the next level with a willingness to focus on business development and growth opportunities.

 

The Lead Pharmacist is a key role within our leadership team with responsibility for overseeing our newly developed pharmacy service. As the superintendent Pharmacist you will be responsible for delivering a safe and high-quality pharmaceutical service. Working closely with our Medical Director and Governance and Quality Manager ensuring our service meets regulatory obligations.

 

As the team manager, you will actively lead, grow, and support your team to achieve exceptional customer-focused care, whist optimising efficiency and profitability. You will be given the independence, adaptability, and autonomy to grow our online pharmacy service.

 

The Lead Pharmacist will actively work with our consultants and specialist clinicians to deliver a wide range of healthcare services and treatments. The role holder will also work closely with the Marketing Director and Managing Director to deliver against our ambition growth plans and supply chain relations.

 

Skills and experience required: 

 

  • GPhC registration (independent prescriber)
  • minimum of 3 years pharmacy experience
  • have an understanding or experience with prescribing GLP-1s 
  • comfortable and have experience in working within a telemedicine environment 
  • experience with prescribing according to pathways/protocols 
  • excellent attention to detail 
  • excellent communication skills 
  • evidence of effective interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills 
  • passionate about healthcare
