About this opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity within our friendly communications team for an experienced communications officer to join us for 12 months to support a range of council services, with a particular focus on adult social care and housing.

As well as great personal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, you will have extensive and current experience in communications, engagement, media and marketing and be able to provide quality strategic advice and support to senior officers and elected members.

You will have a strong track record in delivery, great attention to detail, excellent judgement and a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
