With a strong focus on collaboration, Applebridge's approach is to engage early, offering pre-construction assistance, design advice, risk assessment, programme rationalisation and value engineering.

As part of their continued expansion, they are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee sites throughout the North East. With responsibility for daily site operations, you will help ensure the project is delivered safely on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This will include:

  • Ensuring all Operatives and Subcontractors are properly inducted onto Site, issued with and use the correct PPE and work in a safe manner in addition tohaving the necessary qualifications to carry out works to the highest quality standards
  • Observing and maintaining all Health and Safety and Environmental Management standards
  • Establishing standards of Quality on Site and ensuring delivery of build in accordance with project specifications and requirements
  • Delivering works in the most economic manner to reduce waste and avoid non recoverable costs
  • Understanding clients' priorities and adopting a professional and considerate approach ensuring excellent working relationships are maintained.

Applicants should possess previous experience of 'hands on' management and delivery of Construction/Civil engineering projects, especially Groundworks (including Plotworks/Roads and Sewers). You will possess a 'can do' attitude coupled with the ability to challenge the status quo and make things happen. CSCS card is essential with SSSTS/SMSTS accreditation being an advantage. Driving Licence essential.
