Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking for a Test Engineer . The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of testing, from designing test parameters to troubleshooting errors and documenting final test procedures.

The Test Engineer Will

  • Hold responsibility for delivering test outcomes for full vehicle durability and performance.
  • Establish test objectives from engineering departmental requirements and create testing plans so objectives can be met.
  • Liaise with engineering teams such as Mechanical, Electrical and Controls to gather requirements.
  • Gather and review test data to report on test outcomes and review against engineering simulations.
  • Play a vital role in supplying necessary information to engineering teams which will lead to improvement to future vehicle iterations.

The Test Engineer Will Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field)
  • Previous work experience as a test or development engineer, performing test in a full vehicle setting.
  • Familiarity with testing tools, such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/ Simulink or CAN software
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to troubleshoot outside the box.
