Accountancy firm in the city of London has vacancy for a trainee accountant who ideally have previous experience working in an accountancy practice.

This full-time role offers the successful candidate exposure to a wide range of clients across a variety of sectors. It will help you develop your technical skills and professional development.

Skills / Experience:

  • Academic background in accounting and finance
  • Good knowledge of World and Excel
  • Previous experience of using Sage Accounts, Xero and Quick Books would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of tax (payroll, personal and corporation tax) would be advantageous.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly organised and ability to meet deadline.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Confidence and professionalism when dealing with clients.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping, preparation of payroll and VAT returns
  • Handling financial administration and electronic document management
  • Preparing statutory financial statements from primary records or trial balance
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing tax computations and returns
  • Liaising with clients, assisting senior and manager
