Service Engineer (Field based) midlands

We are an engineering network that supports off road specialist vehicles including construction and other specialist applications, with our head office supporting a truly national coverage (with numerous depots) for all these applications, which means you can rely on us to deliver on our service obligations,

it means that we also fully encourage each of our depots to have fun This can mean anything from our charity fundraising commitments to helping in our local communities or even just having fun within our teams.

To support our contracts and with a general upturn in business we require a;

Based in one of our local depots you will cover a geographical area, visiting various sites and once there you will be expected to be the expert on site
Usually starting with diagnostics of heavy machinery such as plant or construction, agriculture or other off road specialist vehicles
Servicing and Repairs to the highest standard to new and existing customers.
You will be representing the company whilst on site so this is a customer facing role and building relationships is important
The objective of this role is to provide the customer with World Class customer service.
To promote aftermarket products and services to the customer
Good IT skills (Possessing excellent laptop computer technical diagnostics skills)
Deep skills in the Service and maintenance of heavy equipment of various manufacturers equipment
Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy
Possess a recognised qualification in mechanical/ hydraulics./ Clean driving licence and good driving record
Core Hours: 40 hours working week, 08.Attractive rates of pay and overtime rates
Auto-enrolment pension scheme
22 days paid holiday + bank holidays + 1 day for every 5 years completed service

Overtime -first 4 hours at time and a half rate, over and above first 4 hours double time rate
