Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide specialised support to a child with autism. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a child with autism, possessing the ability to engage and inspire them in their learning journey.

Provide one-on-one support to a child with autism, assisting them with academic activities, social interactions, and emotional regulation.
Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to the child's needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where the child feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
Utilise effective communication strategies to facilitate positive interactions and build rapport with the child.
Monitor and document the child's progress, identifying areas for growth and development.Previous experience working with children with autism or special needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and familiarity with evidence-based interventions and strategies.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs and learning styles of the child.
Relevant qualifications in education, special education, psychology, or related fields are preferred.Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
