Senior Mobile Engineer - iOS, Android, Cross-Platform, React, React Native, Objective C, Swift

Our client is dedicated to revolutionizing the business AI video system domain. Fuelled by cutting-edge video artificial intelligence technology, they aim to deliver unparalleled insights and elevate user experiences significantly. Their client base encompasses diverse sectors, including warehouses, schools, hospitals, hotels, and more, and they're experiencing rapid growth. They are seeking individuals to join the team to aid in scaling our systems to meet user demands and introduce new features.

Team You'll Work With:

The leadership comprises seasoned professionals with extensive experience in AI and robotics. The engineering team includes industry veterans with backgrounds from various esteemed organizations. They are backed by venture capital, are revenue-generating, and have ample runway. Joining the team means tackling fascinating challenges at the intersection of user experience, machine learning, and infrastructure.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for overseeing the development of their iOS / Android mobile app and contributing to the Web App. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assuming end-to-end technical ownership of iOS and Android apps.
  • Contributing to the Web App.
  • Implementing designs based on specifications and collaborating with designers for a cohesive user experience.
  • Working collaboratively with other engineers to ensure a unified experience.

Requirements and Experience We Seek:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing cross-platform iOS + Android applications using react-native.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using React.
  • Experience in implementing native components for react-native.
  • Familiarity with implementing designs and collaborating effectively with design teams.
  • Experience with peer-review processes, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing frameworks.
  • While not strictly necessary, experience with backend API development would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated high intrinsic motivation to excel and a strong work ethic.
