As a SEN-TA (Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD, focusing on those who are non-verbal, across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support and guidance to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly those who are non-verbal.
• Provide tailored assistance to non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their individual needs.
• Implement positive behavior strategies, collaborate on behavior plans, and offer emotional support to help students manage their emotions and behavior effectively.
