Job Description

At Syngenta, we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, we are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist.

  • Assist the Legal/HR departments with eDiscovery, Legal Hold and Security/Personnel compliance initiatives including collection, investigation, reporting, litigation, and emergency incident response support
  • Customer-facing Security Governance, Risk Management and Compliance support including security exception management,
  • Design and architecture cybersecurity consultation across our business landscaping for enterprise IT technologies such as networking, application, cloud , endpoint/server and incident response
  • Threat hunting, incident/operations automation and intelligence gathering to support our defensive security workflow
  • Support our Information Security Leads
Qualifications
  • A degree in a science or math curriculum and least 4 years of information technology and/or information security experience.
  • Experience with eDiscovery and/or forensic collections.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, PCI, and/or SOC2, privacy principles and familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
  • Relevant, desirable certifications: ISC2 CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, COMPTIA CASP+, CySA+, or Security+
  • Enterprise information security and technology stack (Cloud, Network, Application, Endpoint/Server)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of technical security controls such as logical access control, agile development process, secure coding principles, security architecture, vulnerability management, network security, and privacy
