TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR Rate: Inside of IR35 + Lodge Contribution Location: Devonport, Plymouth Duration: 12 Months + I am currently recruiting for a Temporary Works Coordinator to work on a major civils project based in Devonport, Plymouth. TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES Co-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teams and designers Review of TW design briefs prepared by site teams to ensure they are suitable for issue to the project’s Temporary Works Design teams and management of that submission process. Management of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures and client requirements Manage Temporary Works designs through their full life-cycle to client approval, implementation, use and dismantling Liaise with different design houses simultaneously. Ensure the implementation of these Temporary Works on site is in accordance with the approved and checked design details. Site inspections and issue of TW Permits Demonstrate a personal commitment to the project’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and management system requirements and expectations. Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks. Understand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilities. Manage and coordinate Temporary Works Supervisors Comply with commercial processes. Provide practical support and mentoring to less experienced members of the temporary works team. TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator Experience of overseeing a broad range of reinforced concrete, formwork and falsework Temporary Works schemes, preferably as a TWC or TWS Ideally experience in design and/or engineering management Civil/Structural Engineering qualification preferred Working knowledge of Temporary Works management procedures Experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects Awareness of commercial processes Knowledge or experience of structural steel building buildings would be useful.
