This role offers the opportunity to work within the surgical referral team, collaborating closely with the first opinion and surgical referral teams. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the surgical referral team, this dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, includingtheatre work, anaesthesia, X-ray/CT imaging, assisting surgery e.g., hip replacement, nurse consultations, inpatient care, emergency response, and critical care nursing.
The Environment: This exciting opportunity is based in a well-equipped, modern Referral Hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital features an in-house laboratory with a dedicated lab technician, CT, MRI, and a dedicated surgical service to support the medical department. There are ample opportunities for career progression, including becoming a Clinical Coach. They offer a generous CPD budget, an in-house progression plan, and support with post-graduate studies.
They work closely to ensure patients receive the highest level of care, and the hospital boasts an interesting and busy caseload.
