Senior Cardiac Physiologist

The Senior Cardiac Physiologist will assist the Cardio Respiratory Manager in the provision of an efficient and cost effective service to the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We want a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team of Cardiac Physiologists. The applicant must be competent to perform the full range of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests.
You should be a self-motivated, well organised with excellent interpersonal skills. You should have the ability to prioritise and use your own initiative. You should have a flexible attitude and the willingness to travel between sites within the Trust. Suitable applicants should have the ability to work under pressure and be able to work effectively within the team.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality diagnostic and treatment including performing ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, autonomic function testing, doctor and physiologist led ETT, Tilt table Testing and Nuclear Medicine perfusion scans etc. within the Cardio-Respiratory Department.

- Undertake clinical duties relevant to clinical area following achievement of competencies.
- oDegree in Cardiac Physiology, PTP or equivalent
- oRCCP registration
- oILS
- oUp-to-date continual professional development
- oWork based assessor/mentor qualification
- oPost graduate studies in a relevant field of willingness to go this
- oExperience as a cardiac physiologist
- oSome experience of supervision and training of other staff
- oEvidence of clinical competence in non-invasive cardiology
- oExperience of managing own work load and time
