My well known distribution client are looking for Class 1 Drivers day shift for regular ongoing and ad hoc work out of their Tuxford depot.
They have just taken delivery of a full fleet of brand new trucks with all up to date technology and equipment.
Trucks are fitted with internal and external driver cameras for your safety as well as up to date sat nav.
Day shift could start from 4am to 4pm
The ability to be flexible is key to this role is essential.
Long term work always booked at least one week in advance.
Fantastic induction and training period which is fully paid.
Average shifts are generally around 12-15 hours.
Temp to perm opportunities could be available.
Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year
-Minimum of continuous driving for the past 6 months
-Monday to Friday day rate £15.35 per hour
Saturday day rate £22.85 per hour
Sunday day rate £30.46 per hour
Please note that the induction is fully paid and lasts for a whole week Monday to Friday.
The induction consists of a full driving assessment and on line theory test covering driver hours, highway code and driver perception.
