Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

As we continue to recruit for the start of the new heavy maintenance season, we are looking for Avionics Aircraft Mechanics to join our team.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing Avionic inspections, routine maintenance, wiring modifications and systems troubleshooting
  • Proficient in vendor and company documentation and paperwork
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Any other duties as assigned by management / supervisor

Requirements

  • Must have avionic maintenance experience, preferably hangar based
  • Experience of wiring modification and electrical hand skills
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Work well unsupervised or as part of a team
  • Previous maintenance experience on B737-800 is highly desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential
  • Willing to work shifts (including nights)
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment
