You will also play a vital part in optimizing our new product development process by offering valuable insights. Your responsibilities will also include efficiently coordinating scientific services and system support. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining laboratory accreditation and ensuring that our business unit is always ready to operate 365 days a year. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international registration standards. The Recipe for Success
- To manage the Sensory facility including all aspects of Health & Safety, budget, and equipment/method performance
- To deliver the Sensory testing service to meet service level requirements and KPIs
- To lead an effective team through clear objectives to achieve performance goals
- To provide expert advice on sensory related work to key areas of the business including NPD, Innovation, Marketing, Manufacturing and Quality
- Leading the Scientific Services systems support for ISO17025 accreditation with full responsibilities of the UKAS Quality Manager.
- Supporting internal business audits, international registration requests, retailer policy compliance and Health & Safety compliance
- Strong alignment to the Weetabix values
- Always curious to find new and better ways of working
- 2-3 years of laboratory/food safety/Quality or sensory experience
- Ability to translate data into information
- Experience of developing, validating, and trouble shooting analytical methods
- Technical/professional qualifications or an appropriate science related degree (or equivalent)
- Experience of auditing systems/processes/quality
- Stakeholder management/communication
