What does this Nuclear Safety Group opportunity offer you?
Joining EDF's Nuclear Safety Group Placements means become key support for our Nuclear Safety Team. You'll be an integral part of daily operations, contributing towards safety reactor operation and compliance with our safety cases which is a key part of nuclear site license compliance.
You’ll be based at one of the Heysham Power Stations, where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues focusing on safe reliable generation. Alongside a starting salary of £23,250 and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include a range of benefits, from the big and formal to the small and personal.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your academic training to genuine problems that are faced in the energy industry.
The skills and experience gained on such a varied industrial placement offers you an introduction to a fast-paced, vital, and dynamic area.
You’ll be based on site at one of the Heysham Power Stations, within the Nuclear Safety Group.
We are looking for candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (maths, physics, other science/engineering related). A questioning attitude, good teamwork, and effective communication skills are also essential qualities we seek.
