This is an exciting vacancy for a Project Manager to lead on the Autism Connect project, a new service, providing autistic adults, who do not have a learning disability or mental health diagnosis, and their support network with a highly responsive, individualised intervention. This will include the delivery of a co-designed therapeutic, educational and social opportunities service, designed to meet the individual needs of autistic adults.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing a variety of programmes/projects and the staff involved in the delivery of these; You will have a genuine interest in working with our varied community and local partners to meet the needs of autistic people and their families. Pension: 6% employer’s salary contribution (subject to conditions)
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum + Statutory Holidays
Allowances: Travel Expenses will be paid according to Bolster Community rates (subject to conditions)
Health Care: Foresight Health Cash Plan (subject to conditions)
To lead, develop and coordinate the Autism Connect service.
To lead on the co-design and develop an agreed programme of universal activities and interests that will enhance the understanding of the service users around the areas of Work, Relationships, Community and Social.
To oversee the quality of the service ensuring continual improvement and growth in organisational knowledge.
To provide supportive line management to project staff.
To oversee the recruitment, training and development of a team of volunteers to assist in service delivery.
To be responsible for all Health and Safety aspects of the project, ensuring risks are appropriately assessed and managed.
To maintain all reporting, monitoring and evaluation systems, recording and demonstrating impact.
To ensure regular provision of reports and updates to the project Steering Group and external funders.
Develop a network of support from a broad range of statutory, voluntary and private sector partners underpinning a strong co-design team of service users and staff.
To develop and manage an evolving database of local information, contacts and experiences for individuals and families impacted by Autism.
