psd are exclusively partnering with an high growth Industrial group who are looking to bring a Group Finance Manager in to lead a period of transformation and change.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and high-growth industrial group of businesses headquartered in Manchester. With plans to grow group turnover to over £40m in the next couple of years, this is an exciting time for the business. To support and drive this expansion, we are creating a robust in-house finance team, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Finance Manager to spearhead this initiative.
As the Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our accounts in-house, contributing directly to the financial success and growth of the organisation. You will lead the establishment and development of a high-performing finance team, shaping financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a unique opportunity for a talented finance professional to make a significant impact on the financial landscape of a rapidly expanding group of businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-House Transition: Lead the transition of financial processes and functions from external providers to an in-house finance team.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a skilled finance team to support the diverse needs of our growing business portfolio.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends to guide strategic decisions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, implementing effective risk management practices.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within a high-growth industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
