Capgemini Engineering are looking for a Landing Gear Technical Lead to join our expanding team in Bristol.
Evaluation of design solutions to meet current and future programme requirements, assessment of proposed design performance/risk and the selection of optimal solutions from both a technical and project/programme perspective.
• selection of Qualification/test methodologies where appropriate and monitoring Equipment/Assembly-level physical test, modelling & simulation activities
• Experience in writing technical specifications both at equipment as well as at system level.
• Landing Gear system/sub-system Qualification and Certification activities to deliver future MAS and in-service modifications/repairs, including Qualification planning, oversight and evaluation of evidence.
• Assess T&E plans/procedures and improve/amend where required System and sub-system-level requirements management and generation of system/sub-system-level specifications for the Main and Nose Gear, Wheel, Tyre and Brake as required by the programme.
A basic awareness of Aircraft and Aircraft System Qualification and Certification.
• Catia V5, MSC ADAMS, MALAB, Simulink or IBM DOORS.
