Job Description Project Engineer – Interiors / Exteriors
The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.

Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
To oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
Assessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
Compiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project site
Support project review meetings
Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions
Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects
Ensuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.

Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking business
Proven record of people & project management
Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
Integrates departmental planning with other business units
Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload
Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures
Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
