Job Description

Join a leading industrial cleaning and shockwave solutions provider in the Power Generation sector as a Trainee Field Technician/Blasting Operative. Based in Portsmouth, this role offers a starting salary of £32,100 with an expected OTE of £40,000, involving extensive travel across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operating controlled detonative charges to clean corrosive build-up in power station boilers.
  • Safely transporting and using explosives within a team, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Traveling extensively throughout the UK, including weekends, to meet operational demands.

What We Want From You:

  • Experience in a hands-on role within industrial or hazardous environments (preferred but not essential).
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Mechanical maintenance knowledge, ideally supported by qualifications.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home for extended periods (5/6 days a week).
