Supplier Quality Engineer Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Leigh on Sea, Essex Salary: £35K - £37K Shift: Days Industry: Safety Critical Components Company Description: A growing manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality initiatives within the supply chain to enhance time, cost & quality. Responsibilities as Supplier Quality Engineer:

  • Resolve supplier product issues.
  • Supplier compliance
  • Develop and implement supplier correction plans.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiative.
  • Manage supplier FAIR process.
  • Manage supplier RCA reviews.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on quality issues of received products.
  • Generate supplier quality reports and metrics to support procurement.
  • Support material review board process.
  • Ensure supplier products quality issues are communicated effectively.
Skills & Experience required as Supplier Quality Engineer:
  • Experienced Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with managing supplier relationships and able to challenge when supplied products don’t meet the required criteria.
