We’re looking for a dedicated, creative, and organised Learning Support Practitioner to support prisoners in their educational journey. Through individualised support plans, reading interventions, and the promotion of positive, restorative practices, you’ll be essential to fostering motivation, engagement, and inclusivity within our programmes.
Purpose of the Role: As a Learning Support Practitioner, you’ll help learners overcome literacy barriers, build reading skills, and work towards personal and employment goals. This role allows you to champion diversity and promote a culture of positive change within the prison community.
Provide structured reading and literacy interventions to help learners improve their skills.
Champion an inclusive, diverse learning environment that supports all learners.
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English at Grade C. Background in learning support and development, with strong knowledge of neurodiverse conditions and strategies to support learners.
