Our client, a highly regarded boutique City law firm is seeking a talented IP Solicitor on a fixed-term contract basis initially for 3-months. The role is starting ASAP.

The role includes:

  • Assisting with trade mark, design, and copyright cases, including:
    • Pre-action advisory work.
    • Managing proceedings before IPEC, the High Court, and UKIPO.
    • Handling alternative dispute resolution and anti-counterfeiting actions.
    • Overseeing domain name disputes and liaising with overseas counsel.
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements such as licences, assignments, and NDAs.
  • Providing IP-related commercial law advice, including due diligence.
  • Supporting non-IP contentious matters, e., consumer law issues.
  • Participating in business development initiatives.

Key skills and experience required:

  • 2+ years' post-qualification IP experience.
  • Expertise in contentious soft IP litigation before IPEC, and/or High Court.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A postgraduate diploma in IP Law and Practice (desirable).
  • Additional language skills (advantageous).

This role is on a full-time hybrid basis. Individuals qualified in common-law jurisdictions are welcome to apply.
