About the Role:

This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. You will be integral to the testing, maintenance, and calibration of the company's rental and test equipment, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Equipment Testing: Our client requires comprehensive test procedures for all equipment. You will have the opportunity to regularly update these procedures, deepening your expertise.
  • Maintenance Excellence: Follow the company’s procedures to maintain and calibrate all rental equipment, ensuring top-notch performance.
  • Precision in Calibration: Ensure all test equipment is consistently in excellent working order.
  • Efficient Asset Management: Update maintenance and calibration schedules, along with the status of rental assets and job reports in the company’s asset tracking system.
  • Effective Teamwork: Collaborate with vendors and colleagues, ensuring timely arrival of spare parts and effective communication.
  • Off-site Mobilizations: Engage in mobilizations on vessels at ports around the UK as needed, providing a diverse range of experiences.
  • Safety Commitment: Maintain and promote high standards of safety, adhering strictly to the company's HSE policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Survey Engineering, with a preference for candidates with hydrographic experience.
  • Flexibility: A versatile approach to tasks and roles, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective information transfer.
