A leading nationwide full-service refurbishment contractor, specializing in delivering exceptional spaces for clients, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager. They are known for their strong client relationships and their ability to successfully complete complex refurbishment projects.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Milton Keynes or Bristol, with the flexibility to work on-site at locations across the UK. As a Construction Manager, you will oversee pre-construction activities, conduct surveys, review project plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the refurbishment process. You will also serve as a key contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring project success from start to handover.

Site Surveys and Assessments: Conduct thorough surveys of buildings slated for refurbishment, evaluating structural integrity and identifying potential challenges.

* Project Planning and Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to assess project feasibility, compliance, and identify potential improvements.

* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, building regulations, and the Building Safety Act.

* Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.

* Project Management: Oversee project management tasks such as planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and communication.

* Risk Management: Identify potential risks during refurbishment projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.

* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones.

* Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports on project progress, quality, and compliance for internal and external stakeholders.

* Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging industry trends and apply new practices to improve project efficiency.

**Strong experience in building surveying, conducting condition surveys, and feasibility studies.

* Knowledge of building regulations, dilapidations assessments, and the Building Safety Act.

* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related field.

* Experience in the construction industry with a strong attention to detail.

* Willingness to travel to national project sites as required.
