Overview of an Inbound Logistics Analyst In this role you will be required to provide assurance to inbound logistics related data and processes by ensuring information is captured in a timely manner and any insight gained is quickly shared or acted on by the team and key internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities of an Inbound Logistics Analyst • Monitoring of inland transit (port to warehouse/customer) to gain early visibility for issues including stock availability, demurrage and KPI impact• Monitoring of 3PL and LSP data outputs and consolidation of the same to SDSE/SEUK formats where necessary with a focus on data accuracy• Troubleshooting of Automatic Shipping Notices (ASNs) to ensure smooth goods receipt processes at warehouses as well as on virtual goods receipt• Trend analysis for direct deliveries across domestic appliances, TV/AV and mobile categories• Inventory coordination of virtual storage locations to ensure accuracy of direct delivery stock positions• Prevention and resolution of stock discrepancies via routine stock checks and reporting• Responsibility for SAP, Cello and GLP inbound data with the goal of ensuring consistency• Preparing and formulating raw data for reporting and forecasting purposes
Key competencies of an Inbound Logistics Analyst • Bachelor degree in Logistics/SCM OR relevant work experience• Good MS Excel skillset including lookups, pivot tables and IF statements as well as an eagerness to learn more• Aptitude for numbers• Attention to details• A proficient level of English• Advantage if you have experience with SAP and TMS systems.
