Head of Automation Project Management

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing retailer and lead significant automation projects for a state-of-the-art distribution centre employing over +4,000 people.
Driving the implementation of automated solutions that optimise processes, boost productivity and reduce costs, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high profile projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:
Manage end-to-end warehouse automation projects from planning to completion, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
Develop and oversee project plans, including scope, timelines and budgets.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates + facilitating decisions.
Integrate automated solutions (e.g. robotics, conveyor systems) ensuring compatibility with existing WMS and ERP systems.
Manage budgets, risks and process optimisations.
Lead and mentor teams, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Strong Engineering background; project management certifications are a plus.
Experience in managing automation projects in warehousing or manufacturing.
Effective team leadership skills and strong knowledge of automation tools.
