Purpose of the role: To actively manage, co-ordinate and plan the individual contracts using the necessary skills required to deliver the needs of the customer while actively controlling the financial, technical, and commercial aspects of the contract in-line with the needs of the business whilst managing client expectations and company resources to achieve on-time deliveries. Package:

  • Up to £58k depending on level of experience
  • Holidays: 23 days plus 8 bank holidays

Main responsibilities for the Project Manager:
  • Actively managing individual projects from Sales handover until final delivery controlling all the financial, technical, and commercial aspects of the contract.
  • Responsible for the successful integration of all, mechanical design activities, procurement, milestone completion and client supplier meetings
  • Ensuring technical requirements and the scope of supply as defined in the contract are properly incorporated as an engineering deliverable
  • Maintain the Project Schedule
  • Maintain the Project P&L, review and update monthly cost reports
  • Mange the Project risk
  • Mange Claims and contractual requirements; VO’s, Extension of Time etc
  • Working within the company HSE management system whilst identifying any additional specific health & safety requirements of customers
  • Manage and facilitate communication across the business to ensure that the project deliverables are met and maintained
  • Coordinate design reviews
  • Support cost control and forecasting activities
  • Generate documentation and liaise with document control
  • Completing assigned tasks delegated by the head of project
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in delivering projects
  • Must have an Engineering background
  • Ability to identify and incorporate cost reductions
  • Ability to identify potential business issues and mitigate risk
  • Excellent customer/supplier relationship skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Decision making ability & Planning
  • System development
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages
  • Full UK working rights/business isn't in a position to offer sponsorship
