THE ROLE
We are seekinga highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head ofFinance for our Product Division. As the Head of Finance, you will beresponsible for overseeing all financial activities within the productdivision, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, andproviding strategic financial guidance to drive business growth andprofitability.
OPPORTUNITES
  • You will develop and implement financialstrategies and policies to support the product division's objectives and drivefinancial performance.
  • Youwill manage and oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingprocesses for the product division, this function represents circa 2,500 peopleglobally with 20% of the companies revenue reinvested in R&D
  • Youwill ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly,quarterly, and annual financial statements that you will present the at ExColevel, working in collaboration with the business leaders for the function.
  • Youwill monitor and analyse financial performance, identify areas of improvement,and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Youwill collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies,cost analysis, and profitability models for new and existing products.
  • Youwill lead the financial evaluation of new product initiatives, includingfinancial modelling, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Youwill manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize financialresources and support business growth.
  • Youwill be responsible for the product division's accounting operations.
  • You will maintainstrong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, financialinstitutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • You will stayupdated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financialmanagement to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • You willsupport the product functions transition to becoming a Industry leading SaaSorganisation, all this while managing a small team of Finance professionals.
SKILLS
  • You will bea fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 5+ years of experience in a globalmatrixed organisation preferably within the banking or financial softwareindustry.
  • Youwill have strong knowledge of financial analysis, financial planning andforecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Youwill have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability toeffectively communicate financial information to both financial andnon-financial stakeholders at senior level
  • You will have excellent understandingof accounting principles and practices.
  • Youwill have the ability to lead and manage a team, collaborate withcross-functional teams, and influence decision-making.
  • Youwill have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability tointerpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • High level of integrity,professionalism, and ethical conduct.
