Job Advert: Internal Salesperson Position: Internal Salesperson Location: Thetford Salary: £(phone number removed) Job Role: As the appointed recruitment agency for our esteemed client, Cooper Lomaz Recruitment is seeking an Internal Salesperson to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently producing quotations that meet customer specifications and requirements, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our client's business. Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical specifications to understand product requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure clarity on technical aspects for customer discussions.
  • Liaise with customers or Area Sales Managers to clarify specifications or requirements.
  • Generate accurate quotations promptly and record them on our client's database.
  • Maintain and update the customer database as needed.
  • Assist new customers in accessing product literature and support materials.
  • Collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers on larger projects, providing technical support internally.
  • Understand larger project requirements and communicate effectively with customers regarding logistics and product range.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations, gathering feedback from customers.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to production upon project confirmation.
  • Provide feedback to enhance sales opportunities and improve internal processes.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and competitor products.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Provide support to other departments as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and solve problems independently.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in handling difficult customers calmly and professionally.
  • Strong team player with the capacity to work independently.
  • Organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong communication and literacy skills.
  • Background in HVAC/Passive Fire manufacturer/MEP industry preferred.
  • Prior experience in Internal Sales/Technical Sales advantageous but not mandatory.
Package:
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Office-based role.
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:15.
  • Annual leave (20 days) + Public & Bank holidays.
