Delivery of a high-quality service covering the assessment, prescription and provision of wheelchairs and associated accessories to service users of all ages • Undertaking holistic assessments of adults and children with a variety of physical, cognitive and/or learning disabilities impacting on mobility • Working collaboratively with a variety of health care professionals; creatively accessing various funding options to help service users achieve not only their mobility goals, but to meet their wider health and wellbeing needs • Working in partnership with the Personal Wheelchair Budget liaison officer to support service users in exploring options to meet their wider wellbeing needs • Participation in projects and initiatives with the commissioners and NHS/local authority teams • Involvement in our service user engagement strategy.
