This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in leading the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department and inspiring students through the French language.
As the QTS Deputy Director of MFL French, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive French curriculum that engages and challenges students.
Teaching French lessons to students, ensuring lessons are engaging, informative, and meet the needs of all learners.
Supporting the Director of MFL in monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Collaborating with colleagues to integrate French into the broader school curriculum and enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Staying up-to-date with developments in French language education and incorporating new methodologies into your teaching practice.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching French.
Strong knowledge of the French language curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
A passion for the French language and a commitment to helping students develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to inclusive education.
Must hold a current Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
