Job Title: Review Team Manager (Adults Social Worker) Location: Gateshead Council Salary: £35 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Contract We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team as an Review Team Manager. This role involves managing a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality assessments, care plans, and reviews for individuals and families. As a Review Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the standard of our social care services. Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and support the review team to deliver effective social work services. Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals for team members. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and council policies. Oversee the assessment and review processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Work collaboratively with other departments and external agencies to coordinate care and support. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery. Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring the highest standards of practice. Provide expert advice and guidance to team members on complex cases. Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals and promote their wellbeing. Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.Requirements: Registered with Social work England A Degree in Social work or Diploma in SW, CQSW, CSS Right to Work UK Enhanced DBS check, dated within the last 12 months Previous experience in a Management or leadership role within a Adult social care setting Extensive experience in social work, with a focus on assessments and reviews. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
