The VCCP Partnership is an integrated communications agency set up in 2002 by Charles (V), Rooney (C), Adrian (C) and Ian (P), who founded the agency on the principles of simplicity, collaboration, un-preciousness and integration around ideas rather than channels.

Across the Partnership, we work with a broad spectrum of clients. Our work transcends the marketing mix, leading everything from social media or launch campaigns to DM and web build.

We also provide very senior strategic planning for clients, customer journey mapping and helping clients to envision their future business, beyond just communications.

VCCP SOCIAL & CREATOR SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR:

Are you obsessed with social media, creators and influencers? Are you all over the latest trends on TikTok? Do you dissect how brands show up on social media? We are looking for someone to join the social team at VCCP, who lives and breathes social media, influencers and creator marketing, and knows how to maximise it for brands in the most interesting, compelling and effective ways. You need to be an original thinker, pushing for greatness and never settling for average social work, but also be highly organised, accountable and strategic in how you operate. This is an exciting role, working on some of the biggest brands in the UK and globally, help push the boundaries of what great social creative work is today. With VCCP’s mantra of only doing work that truly populates culture, we are looking for someone to take this on and run with it for our social clients - making internet famous work.

Some core skills and competencies we are looking for:

  • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to meet client objectives and drive engagement, awareness, and conversion.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Mentor, and inspire a team of social media specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation and the best social work possible for brands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, especially heads of social roles, understanding their business goals and objectives, and providing strategic social media recommendations.
  • Present social media strategies, campaign results, and insights to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Oversee the execution of social media campaigns across various platforms, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with client brand guidelines.
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize strategies in real-time, and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze social media metrics, track KPIs, and generate insightful reports to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve future campaigns and strategies.

COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL

  • VCCP SAD’s are the lead strategic adviser to their client(s) and the ‘go to’ person for helping them with their business issues. You will report directly into the Social Managing Partner, but share the responsibility for managing the accounts and new business.
  • You will lead your social project team to develop proactive and responsive strategic proposals which drive demonstrable value for your clients.
  • You will identify and develop relationships with key budget holding social clients (and wider marketing team clients) across their business at senior levels, seeking opportunities and developing plans for business growth within your accounts.
  • You will develop and nurture relationships with senior people in partner agencies.
  • You will be accountable for client revenue targets across your projects – in terms of forecasts, the buck stops with you – you need to take responsibility for them, anticipating and reacting rapidly to changes in your clients businesses which impact on revenue.
  • You will take the lead in client negotiations with senior level procurement and marketing contacts to agree agency fees and retainers.

ACCOUNT AND PROJECT ORGANISATION AND MANAGEMENT

  • VCCP SAD’s are encouraged to work with their account team as they would their own mini agency and should be comfortable with the entrepreneurial atmosphere this creates – we take the INITIATIVE, we encourage ENTREPRENEURS.
  • With above in mind, VCCP SAD’s lead and motivate the account teams to deliver first-class account management; ensuring projects delivered are of a high standard, on time and on budget.
  • You will ensure compliance to VCCP company reporting and legal procedures as well as the management of the client account to the terms of any contractual agreements.
  • You will ensure your team(s) are adhering to account billing processes, maintaining a sense of urgency in timely and accurate invoicing in line with, or ahead of, your forecast sessions with your Managing Partner.

DELIVERING ‘CHALLENGER AGENCY’ PRODUCT

  • You will proactively develop, implement and share new ways to improve the quality of work within the agency – filling the agency’s founding principles and challenger philosophy.
  • You will head up and take responsibility for the agency’s strategic and creative response to briefs, owning the social media specialism, but ensuring it is always connected to the overall brand strategy, helping to evaluate in terms of quality and budget and benchmarking against objectives/KPIs set.
  • You will work with your team to develop brilliant and inspiring briefs which help to deliver the very best strategic and creative work.
  • You will oversee the formal evaluation of completed campaigns and sharing of results – it is important that you make sure learnings are shared across the agency as well as within your team.
  • You will take leadership in reviewing creative work in an objective and constructive manner, working closely with the senior creative teams to deliver the best product possible in the pursuit of work the populates culture.
  • You will often have to work on new business and business development across the agency, working with other specialisms and offices globally

TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • You will lead, motivate, develop and appraise staff – working to motivate and inspire your team to love what they do. Involve and educate them to help them excel individually and as a team. Appraise them in a timely manner, ensuring best practice career development.
  • You will be the driving force of initiatives that help upskill individuals and the agency as a whole on the fast paced changing nature of the social media landscape.

Senior Account Director's at VCCP should have a broad range of skills to ensure ideas are conceived and delivered with this in mind. They are responsible for challenging siloed thinking by ensuring an idea is media agnostic and that it is a simple enough thought that can work across every consumer touch points.
