Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our team at Cefn Lodge care Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Clinical Care:

· Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health and well-being.

· Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

· Monitor residents' vital signs and promptly address any changes in health status.

· Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

*Person-Centred Care:*

· Foster a caring and supportive environment for residents.

· Promote residents' independence and dignity in daily living activities.

· Provide emotional support and engage in therapeutic communication with residents.

*Documentation:*

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.

· Document all care interventions, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.

· Complete relevant paperwork in accordance with regulatory requirements.

*Communication:*

· Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the wider care team.

· Participate in care planning meetings and contribute valuable insights.

· Report and discuss any concerns about residents' health or well-being.

*Quality and Compliance:*

· Adhere to nursing standards and comply with all relevant regulations.

· Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

· Stay informed about best practices in nursing and attend relevant training.

*Professional Development:*

· Pursue continuous professional development and training opportunities.

· Stay abreast of developments in nursing and healthcare.

· Uphold the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct.

*Qualifications and Requirements:*

· Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN (RGN/RMN).

· Previous experience in a similar role within a nursing home setting.

· Excellent clinical and communication skills.

· Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

· Commitment to providing person-centred care.

· Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
