England, United Kingdom Energy Jobline CVL Full time

Our client is a well-established and respected name in its chosen industry - specialising in the design, manufacture, supply and construction of purpose-built treatment plants for municipal sewage and industrial wastewater applications.

New contracts and continued growth means that they are looking to recruit a new permanent member of staff to join the Engineering team.

Once trained and experienced as one of their main field engineers, you will be responsible for maintaining a designated number of sites within our regular client portfolio, as well as new and infrequent customers. The majority of our sites are single engineer visits, however a number of our larger sites do require two or more engineers. This will involve you working alongside our other field engineers to complete work. Our sites are spread across the UK so there is sometimes the requirement for overnight stays, however the majority of the work is within a two hour radius of our main offices.

You will communicate and work with office staff to arrange site visits and repair work in an efficient and safe manner. You will produce reports for work carried out, alongside images and videos where required. Because of the changing nature of a small business your job description will inevitably vary. This job description is a guide to the work that is required by you, however it may be amended from time to, subject to your agreement with management.

The job will carry the following responsibilities -

• Individual site work

• Small team based site work

• Driving a range of company vehicles from our base in Deeping St James

• Driving to a wide range of sites across the UK with some overnight stays

• Operating a wide range of plant and equipment from hand tools to excavators

• Servicing and maintaining a range of treatment plants and pump stations

• Servicing and maintaining a range of air and submersible pumps

• On site fault finding and problem solving with tools and materials

• Installing a range of treatment plants and pump stations

• Working with sewage and treated final effluent

• Interacting and communicating with customers on site

• Completing job reports and recording findings

• Following risk assessments and method statements

• Following site safety rules and procedures

• Taking photographs and videos of sites where necessary

• Communicating with office and workshop staff

• Keeping your van / vehicle tidy and organised

• Keeping your tools and equipment tidy and organised

You must be able and happy to work independently and at times liaise with Customers to assist with the job/

A background in Mechanical Engineering is ESSENTIAL

Qualifications in working at height and in confined spaces would be advantageous

You must possess a full and clean driving license

You must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, take pride in everything you do and work hard to ensure the continued success of the business #J-18808-Ljbffr
