Job Description

We’re on the search for a Marketing Executive to join our team in this newly created role. If you’re excited about travel and engaging consumers aged 18-35, then this role is for you.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Executive will play an integral position within the Contiki marketing team - helping us with our mission to reach, engage and motivate Gen Z’s and Millenials to see the world with Contiki. You’ll support in the delivery of marketing strategy, working alongside the Senior Product Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to deliver our campaigns and activations and become a key liaison between our global and regional teams.

  • Work alongside the web, social, CRM, blog and creative studio teams to ensure and deliver multi-channel global brand campaigns and activations.
  • Have specific and focused responsibilities for key projects across both brand and product marketing, ensuring robust planning, timely delivery and full evaluation of each activity in line with objectives e.g. Trip Spotlights, Rep Programme, Tactical Sales, Always on brand messaging.
  • Write briefs for relevant departments and agencies including creative, design, content, e-mail and paid media.
  • Project manage regional briefs through Monday.com, being the main point of contact between Contiki’s regional and global production teams.
  • Manage communications with regional teams, keeping them up to date, informed and engaged.
  • Keep up to date with youth and travel trends and competitors, bringing insight and learnings from other brands to showcase to the team.
  • Maintenance of admin including marketing calendar, trackers, toolkits, budget and weekly regional agendas.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing in all its forms, as well as the following attributes and skills:

  • You’ll be a positive, energetic individual that wants to learn and develop to acquire new skills in a fast paced environment
  • You’ll have previous experience within marketing (ideally within digital) with a track record of delivering a variety of campaigns and activations
  • You’ll be organised with an ability to manage multiple projects
  • You’ll be hugely proactive and happy to take on a challenge
  • You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • You’ll have a creative eye with a strong attention to detail
  • You’ll be proficient in within Microsoft Office suite, (Monday.com an advantage)
  • Knowledge of USA and Australia markets an advantage
  • Knowledge of the travel industry an advantage
