They are looking to recruit a Yard Supervisor to take ownership of their Yard near Bury. Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to; To open up the business premises at the beginning of every working day before personnel arrival Ensure the upkeep of all vehicles, the storage yard and the recycling yard Communicate with each site, and the Company Buyer, in relation to planning and arranging the allocation of vehicles, new and reclaimed materials, being mindful of staff travel requirements both proactively and reactively To visit sites, properties and suppliers to make essential deliveries and collections Supervising labour to assist with duties when required Report to Director/Contracts Manager Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
