Overview
Our client is a growing, and well-established IT infrastructure services partner for many leading UK and global organisations, with solutions across managed, infrastructure, project, and professional services. With expanding operations in the UK, the business is looking to appoint a Technical Project Manager, with an excellent track-record in delivering critical infrastructure projects, notably within the data centre industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the coordination, management, financial reporting, and delivery of the business services and growth.
- Effectively manage the implementation of client projects, in coordination with both business resources and partner organisations.
- Take ownership of the overall success of projects, and ensure they are delivered within the scope, time, cost, specifications, and quality required.
- Create and manage project management documentation and reports.
- Work with client and internal teams onsite, and drive projects directly.
Key Requirements:
- An understanding of ITIL frameworks, preferably with ITIL Foundation certification.
- A track-record in delivering critical infrastructure projects, notably within Data Centre environments.
- Prior experience in audits, physical migrations, and commissioning/decommissioning of data centres.
- An understanding of WAN/LAN connectivity and B2B networks.
- Ability to be authoritative and influential to ensure best practice and ability to drive projects through to completion.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-completion projections.
