Key to meeting all of these aspirations will be the Registered Manager we are looking for, to lead and support our teams in the Wisbech Region.
Region/Service info
• Main Street is a 3 bedded home supporting children with Social and Emotional needs for upto 4 children aged between 8 and 17
• You will be looking after a team of dedicated support workers and supported by a deputy manager to achieve the very best for the children we care for. At Main Street we believe very passionately about child centred plans developed around the use of PACE.
What this particular Registered Manager will
• A team of dedicated support workers who have embraced the therapeutic model we apply in the home
• Will need to support a team and group of children that need the support of a well-balanced corporate parent which the manager brings to the home
• Need to be able to demonstrate a working understanding of PACE or at least be able to agree to undertake training and research around this model of care. The manager will be responsible for upto 12 staff members and a deputy all of whom are currently employed at the home.
• The home is currently rated good in all areas and the registered manager will need to ensure that the home operates at this level and aspire to be outstanding within 2 years.
We are looking for an innovative leader - able to provide outstanding levels of care to ensure that our young people have the best possible life chances. You will have an excellent track record in Children’s Services, with the ability to develop outstanding teams and quality systems. Cambian will offer a best in class support framework to maximise your success and to underpin the achievements you will deliver with your team, for our young people.
You will need a real eye for detail – understanding that our absolute commitment to the Safeguarding of our children and young people is our top priority. You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment we work in and that the safety of our children is paramount.
We are a unique and complex business and you will need to balance a hands on, practical approach with a creative and innovative style and the ability to respond with positivity and a ‘can do’ mindset.
