The Assistant Headteacher/SENDCo plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring high standards of education and care for all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves coordinating and leading the school's SEND provision, developing inclusive practices, and working collaboratively with staff, students, and external agencies to enhance learning outcomes.

Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school.
·Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and policies.
·Assist in whole-school leadership and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Qualified Teacher Status
·Postgraduate level qualification
·Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
·A good understanding of how children and those with SEND learn
·Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of the pupils
·Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
·Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
·Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
·Full UK driving license and access to your own car
