Job Summary:

High 5 Games is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEO Coordinator to enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic to our gaming platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of SEO experience, ideally within the online gaming or related digital entertainment space. This individual will be hands-on, implementing strategies to optimize website performance, improve search rankings, and engage our target audience. He / she will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will collaborate with our product

development and creative teams to enhance our relative positioning and stands out

amongst competitors

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy and Implementation

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and drive traffic to High 5 Games’ platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify growth opportunities, focusing on gaming related trends and high-value queries within social gaming, online casino and sweepstakes areas.
  • Analyze competitors’ SEO performance to benchmark and implement best practices.

Content Optimization

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create SEO-friendly content, ensuring alignment with gaming trends and user intent.
  • Optimize website metadata, on-page elements, and structured data to improve SERP rankings.
  • Identify and address content gaps that could enhance organic traffic., with focus on enhancing our blog to generate more interest.

Technical SEO

  • Audit and ensure the technical health of the website, including crawlability, indexation, and mobile performance.
  • Implement and manage schema markup, internal linking strategies, and canonical tags.
  • Collaborate with developers to fix technical SEO issues, including site speed, broken links, and redirects.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions) using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
  • Generate regular reports on SEO performance, highlighting successes, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Set measurable KPIs for SEO growth aligned with broader marketing objectives.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work

  • Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of SEO strategies into campaigns.
  • Support paid marketing teams to optimize keyword strategies and landing pages for higher Quality Scores.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practices, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.

  • Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills
  • Super organized taskmaster
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A strategic thinker, but also willing to roll up your sleeves to execute in a lean and agile start-up environment.
  • Ability to think outside of the box, be innovative, adaptable and come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges

Education & Experience:

  • Experience working in an online, gaming, or fast-moving industry required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role in the areas of marketing technology and paid digital media.
  • Creative operations, marketing project management and technical task management experience
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising, marketing tracking/reporting, and mar-tech systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
