Sewing Machinist – Relocation required

  • Liverpool area
  • Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
  • Standard working hours in a week are 40 across the following shift patterns which will rotate on a weekly basis:
  1. Mon – Fri 6:00am – 2:00pm
  2. Mon – Fri 2:00pm – 10:00pm
The factory is close to a bus route and the buses run early in the morning and late at night
  • Experience working on an industrial flatbed machine is essential

The role: This job is based in Liverpool area; however, using our bespoke “Recruit and Relocate” service, Workforce will assist you in relocating if you do not live locally. As a machinist, you will work with a well-established manufacturing business who have partnered with a world-renowned international brand to support them with the manufacturing of their vast product range. Responsibilities and duties:
  • We are looking for skilled Sewing Machinists who have experience operating industrial flatbed sewing machines
  • Due to the nature of the products, candidates will need to have worked with thick materials and large products, where multiple components need to be sewn together to create the finished product
  • Quality is more important than speed – candidates must have worked within environments where quality control is high on the agenda
  • Although the candidates will be expected to be skilled machinists, training and development will be provided to improve on their existing skillset
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts
  • Communicative English is required
