Job Description

We’re helping one of the leading Mexican snack brands in their search for a Chief of Staff who will support their CEO, implement strategic decisions and oversee key projects. After their founder’s frustration of being unable to find good quality Mexican ingredients, he went on a mission to learn everything he could about growing, farming and cooking corn. His adventure led to him bringing back the stories and history of Mexico and putting it on the shelves of UK retailers and restaurants. Their main product is currently found in Ocado, Planet Organic and Daylesford but will be launching into more major retailers in the coming few months.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations and Planning:

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and manage teams by setting timelines and allocating resources
  • Develop and track OKRs and KPIs to keep track of successes and suggest changes
  • Provide advice to the CEO

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication between departments.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.

Workflow Optimisation:

  • Streamline and improve internal processes to enhance organisational efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimise workflow.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across various departments.

Problem-Solving:

  • Address and resolve complex challenges and issues facing the organisation.
  • Anticipate potential problems and proactively implement solutions.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Founder.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior leadership position for a minimum of 8 years, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the food and drinks industry ideally.
  • Ability to travel to the London office 3 times/week.
