Systems include use Siemen with Fusion 360 CadCam with Solidworks as design package.

  • Create accurate quotations for work and confirming quote vs. actual.
  • Produce work schedules for each machine and organise manpower.
  • Be the first point of contact for any operator issues.
  • Co-Ordinate with Quality to obtain best possible product utilising inspection process.
  • Co-Ordinate with Engineering to obtain best machining method and finish for product.
  • Produce tooling and fixtures as required.
  • Programme and operate all CNC machines as required.
  • Arrange the day-to-day running of machine shop.
  • Assist in the machining for prototyping and development.
  • Ensure operating to the highest safety level and using PPE.
  • Ensure the workshop is kept clean, tidy and functional at all times.
  • Ensure product is produced in line with costings, quality & delivery.
  • Create highest productivity for all equipment.
  • Ensure all operatives and machines are fully utilised
  • Maintain good 5S and H&S systems.
You will have To be successful as Machine Shop Supervisor, you’ll have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and a healthy mix of the following:
  • 5+ years of programming and operating CNC machines
  • Good understanding of tolerances and methodical problem-solving
  • Knowledge of high-spec industry standards such as Motorsport or Aerospace
  • Work well in the team with good leadership skills
