Job Title: SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming special needs school in the South Tyneside area.
Supporting students with a range of SEN/SEMH needs, ensuring their individual learning plans are followed
Helping students develop essential social and emotional skills
Previous experience working within a SEN/SEMH setting is essential
A positive and patient approach to supporting children with complex needs
A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the needs of the school
