My client is looking for a Registered Children's Home

Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1700 (On Call Responsibilities included)

The successful applicant with be responsible for the team including:

  • Deputy Manager
  • Senior Support Workers
  • Support Workers

Purpose of the role:

  • To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children & young people to thrive
  • To assume responsibility for the leadership, management and development of a registered children’s home in line with the organisation’s ethos, purpose & values, and with adherence to Ofsted regulations
  • To have excellent knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislations and ensure that the service remains compliant at all times with all legislative and regulatory requirements
  • To assume all of the responsibilities associated with the role of the Registered Service Manager
  • To be an active participant of the management team ensuring that the organisation achieves its aims and a positive culture is created in which people can live and work
  • To positively and creatively contribute to the development of an environment in which all individuals are encouraged to recognise their potential
  • To contribute positively to the ongoing development of the organisation as it strives to maintain practice at the forefront of creative and flexible residential child care and education services

Minimum Criteria:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Management and leadership Relevant qualifications in Childcare
  • Be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare if not already obtained is essential
  • Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for residential childcare (England)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Childcare
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Management
