Job Title: Claims Engineer

📍 Contract Details: Permanent

As a Claims Engineer, you will focus on Mechanical, Electrical, High Voltage claims, and GAP Insurance programmes.

💼 Previous experience in the Automotive Industry, preferably with a Premium Brand (not essential).
IT literate, proficient in email and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.Fluency in either French or German (both written and spoken).
Proficiency in English and Mathematics at a minimum of GCSE level.
NVQ3 qualification in Automotive Light Mechanical Repair Technology with more than 5 years of experience.

🚗 As a Claims Engineer, you will work within the Claims team at our client organisation, contributing to the successful settlement of valid claims in line with policy wording, insurer procedures, and company standards. With a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, High Voltage claims, and GAP Insurance programmes, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our policyholders and clients.

🎯 Handle incoming claims efficiently and accurately within agreed SLAs.
Follow procedures to obtain necessary evidence and documentation for claim settlement.
Register claims and maintain clear and concise notes and actions.
Process claim payments accurately and promptly.
Comply with training and competence requirements.
